CUBIC Services’s 13 Step Upholstery Cleaning Process
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Technician will test the fabric to determine the fabric type, type of cleaning solutions needed, and type of cleaning techniques will be used. We will also address any potential permanent stains (areas of concern).
Step 2: Cleaning Perimeter
We will establish a perimeter where the upholstery will be cleaned, and protect any surrounding furnishings.
Step 3: Pre-Vacuum
To remove any dry soil and hidden particles all fabrics should be vacuumed thoroughly before cleaning begins.
Step 4: Pre-Treatment
(Depending in fabric type) To emulsify the soil a conditioning solution will be applied.
Step 5: Pre-Spot
Any potentially stubborn spots will be treated with enhancement solutions to increase chances of stain removal.
Step 6: Pre-Groom
To loosen soil the fabrics will be gently groomed with an upholstery brush.
Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse
(Once the soil is loosen) Soil is removed from fabric using a controlled rinse a extraction system.

Step 8: Neutralize
Fabrics are pH balance to restore it soft, fresh feel.
Step 9: Post Spot
If any spots remains, spots will be treated with special stain removal solution.
Step 10: Post Groom
Fabrics are given a gentle combing in perparation for drying.
Step 11: Speed Dry
Air movers will be placed on the upholstery to help speed drying time for the fabrics.
Step 12: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician along with you, will review the cleaning results (we plan to met or exceed your expectations).
Step 13: Fabric Protector Applied
(With your expectations met) To prevent fewer stains and to prolong the life of your upholstery – fabric protector is applied to cleaned upholstery.
